Our Mission
Helping ordinary people live and share their faith in the everyday places of life.
Our Team
Our Story
Our team has almost 60 years combined experience living and sharing the faith in everyday places. Our own corners of the harvest are found in California, North Carolina and Alabama, where we are actively making disciples.
In 2018 we saw an opportunity to share this way of life with others, as well as stay connected with people we’ve discipled over the years who are now in other parts of the world. We launched ITH as a way of encouraging and resourcing others on a broader scale, to both live and share the faith in their own corner of the harvest.
We’re a small team on a big mission and we’d love for you to join us.
Let’s move into the harvest, together!
Our Beliefs
The Bible is the inspired and trustworthy Word of God. It provides the revelation we need to learn about God’s character and purposes.
(Psalm 119.160; 2 Peter 1.19-21)
We believe in one God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
(Isaiah 45.5-6; Matthew 28.19-20; Ephesians 4.4-6; 1 Peter 1.1-2)
God is Creator of all things. He is everywhere-present, all-knowing, and all-powerful over His creation.
(Genesis 1.1; Isaiah 40.28; Jeremiah 23.24; 32.27)
Because God created all things, all things belong to Him.
Because God created all things, He is committed to seeing His purposes for creation brought to fulfillment.
(Job 23.13; Psalm 24.1-2; Isaiah 14.24, 27)
All people are created in the image of God but we also bear the image of Adam and are born with a sinful nature that separates us from God and warrants eternal condemnation.
(Genesis 1.26-27; Romans 5.12-19; Ephesians 2.1-3)
Creation itself has been marred by the curse of sin and is in need of being redeemed and restored by its Creator.
(Isaiah 24.4-13; Romans 8.19-25; 2 Peter 3.7-13)
Jesus is the Son of God. His life is eternal and He preexisted in Heaven before His earthly birth. He was sent by God to earth, He was begotten of the Holy Spirit, he was born of the virgin Mary, and He is both fully God and fully human.
(Luke 1.26-35; John 6.32-51; Philippians 2.5-11; Hebrews 2.14-18; 4.14-16)
The Son of God, Jesus of Nazareth, lived a perfect life and His death on the cross fulfilled the Scriptures. He is our representative before God and the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins.
(John 1.29; 1 Corinthians 15.1-4; 1 Peter 1.21-25)
The Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day and He returned to Heaven where He now acts as High Priest and Advocate for His people. He will one day return to earth and rule over creation.
(Luke 24; 1 Corinthians 15.20-28; Hebrews 4.14-16; 1 John 2.1; 1 Peter 3.21-22)
All who hear the message of Jesus (the gospel) and believe and call on Him as Lord and Christ are born into the family of God—the church—and are saved from eternal punishment and made right with God.
(John 1.9-13; Romans 10.8-17; Ephesians 2.13-22)
All who believe in and belong to Jesus are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and become new creations of God.
(John 7.38-39; Romans 8.9; 2 Corinthians 5.17)
The Holy Spirit motivates and guides each new creation to live a life of joy and obedience which glorifies their Creator.
(John 16.5-15; Romans 8.1-17)
All people who believe in and belong to Jesus are part of the church. Church is best understood as the family and flock of God.
(John 10.11-16; Acts 20.28; Ephesians 2.19; 1 Timothy 3.15)
The Lord Jesus gives servant-leaders for His church to help gather, guard, and guide local families/flocks (churches) so that they grow healthy and strong in faith.
(Acts 20.28-32; Ephesians 4.8-16; Colossians 4.17, cf. Philemon 1.2)
Next-generation leaders need to be developed and groomed for the church so it can expand and grow in the present and continue strong into the future.
(Luke 22.31-32; John 21.15-17; 2 Timothy 2.1-10; 4.1-7)
