Too often we think about church as place or event. So we’ll ask questions like, “Where do you go to church?” (because we’re thinking about a place) or “What time does church start?” (because we’re thinking about an event).
The Bible, on the other hand, describes church as family, with God as our Father and us believers as brothers and sisters in Christ.
In our last video we saw the need to find out who is in your church family. Today it’s all about finding time. When will you connect with your fellow believers this week?
Life is busy for all of us. But we all have the same 24 hours in a day. The same 7 days in a week. So don’t just go with the flow and hope connection happens.
Pray about your schedule this week. Think ahead. And then write down when you will set aside time to connect with those in your church family. If you’re purposeful, it will happen. And if it happens enough, church will begin to feel like family.
