The Bible describes church as family. So why do so few of us experience it that way? And what can we do about?
The good news is, there’s a lot we can do about it! And it starts with how we commit ourselves.
So over the next 3 videos I’m going to share 3 ways you can commit yourself that will help you begin to experience church as family.
And the first is this: define who your church family is. Who are the people, the believers in the local area, that God wants you to be family with?
You know, it’s crazy. We’ll commit to almost anything but this. We’ll commit to doctrines, to denominations, to Sunday services.
But committing to church is not a matter of finding a service you like and showing up every Sunday to sit, to sing and to listen.
Figure out the who of church. What relationships do you need to commit to? Write down their names. And then start learning how to be family together.
