I don’t know much about making a quality salad in real life. But thankfully, my wife does!
But I do know that Hebrews 10.24-25 describe what I call a fellowship salad. That’s because there are 3 “let us’s” in these verses. First, let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Fellowship starts with thoughtfulness. It starts before you’re even with other believers.
Second, let us meet together.
And third, let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the day approaching.
Let us consider, let us meet together, let us encourage one another. We need all 3 for fellowship to work!
If you’re meeting with other believers, but you haven’t given thought beforehand to how you can spur them on to love and good deeds, and if you’re leaving the time without being encouraged to follow Christ more closely, effective fellowship isn’t happening.
Disciples are committed to quality fellowship. And these are the ingredients.
