“My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Jesus is our Master. This means that we belong to him. It also means that we look to him to define our Mission. What is life all about? What is the work Jesus wants us to give our lives to?
But did you realize we should also look to Jesus to define our Methods? How should we go about engaging in his work?
It’s a tragedy when we try to do God’s work using man’s methods but too often that’s what we see happening in the church today.
Next week we’re starting a series on The Master Plan of Evangelism, 10 principles that will help you live out the Mission of Christ by following the pattern of Christ. Hope you’ll join us as we learn how to do the work of Christ by following the way of Christ.
