What is the Gospel?
The New Testament was originally written in Greek. Our English word gospel comes from the Greek euaggelion; it literally means a “good message.” What is the gospel? What is this “good message”?
In the New Testament we discover what the gospel message is. In some places, we find the gospel being explained in detail (like in Paul’s letter to the Romans). However, in the book of Acts we see the gospel being proclaimed in action.
In this lesson, we examine four “gospel episodes” from the book of Acts.
